Spread Your Wings
Founded in 2019, Lifros Kanaf (Spread Your Wings) creates inclusive programs that bring together young people with and without disabilities, fostering connection and greater awareness of the challenges faced by people with disabilities.
Since the outbreak of the Iron Swords War, the organization has adapted its work to meet urgent needs, with a primary focus on supporting wounded soldiers and their families.
Through leadership initiatives, support networks, and creative expression, Lifros Kanaf works to build personal, community, and social resilience across Israel.

"We act with the intention of helping grow the “generation of victory” from the difficult places they have come from, empowering them to lead change."
Adv. Matan Kutai, Founding Chairman of Lifros Kanaf

White Sail Leadership Program

The White Sail program is intended for women and men who have been injured in war, physically or mentally.
It combines strengthening self-worth and discovering personal destiny with acquiring practical tools for leadership and developing social initiatives.
During the program, participants meet with various communities and sectors across the country to deepen their familiarity with Israeli society in all its facets.
The program lasts six months, in a format of bimonthly meetings, and at the end, participants embark on a learning expedition to the United States equipped with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to lead change.

The lives of thousands of women in Israel have changed following the injuries of their partners in Iron Swords War. Many of them are simultaneously coping with supporting medical rehabilitation, managing their households and children, providing emotional support to their families, and maintaining economic stability. Recognizing this reality, Lifros Kanaf created the By Your Side (L'zidech) Program.
The goal of the program is to support women at the pivotal moment when their lives change, and to help them move from a state of crisis toward growth and development. As part of the program, groups for partners of wounded soldiers operate across the country. Each group meets once a month over the course of six months for a half-day of experience, learning, and meaning. These meetings enable women to connect with others facing similar realities, fostering a supportive community that often continues well beyond the end of the program.
Within this space, many women discover new inner strengths and, in some cases, initiate social projects that strengthen the broader community of partners of wounded soldiers throughout Israel.
By Your Side Program

At Lifros Kanaf, creative expression is a powerful tool for healing and growth for people whose lives were impacted by war, physically and emotionally. Through art, participants find new ways to process their experiences, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with their inner strengths.
We offer a wide range of creative courses and workshops, including theater, dance, photography, ceramics, poetry, music, painting, and writing. With the guidance of a professional team, participants create exhibitions, rotating galleries, and cultural events that give them a platform to share their work and be seen.
Research in Israel and around the world supports this approach, showing that creative processes can help ease trauma, anxiety, and depression, while strengthening a sense of capability and empowerment.
